Kerry Butler recently appeared in the Broadway revival of The Best Man with James Earl Jones, Angela Lansbury and Candace Bergen. Other Broadway credits include: Catch Me If You Can (Drama Desk Nomination), Rock of Ages, Xanadu (Tony Award & Drama League Nomination) Little Shop of Horrors, (Outer Critics Circle Award), Hairspray (Clarence Derwent Award).
Joe Iconis is one of Broadway's hottest up-coming composers/lyricists. Joe's song "Broadway, Here I Come" to be featured on Season 2 of NBC's Smash. As a composer - lyricist - bookwriter he has authored the musicals Bloodsong of Love, The Black Suits (with Robert Maddock), ReWrite, The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks and We The People. His concert act, The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree, frequently plays The Laurie Beechman Theater and Joe’s Pub.
Randy Redd has performed in the Broadway productions of Ring of Fire and Parade, as well as off-Broadway in Million Dollar Quartet and Children of Eden.
Renee Elise Goldsberry has starred on Broadway in The Color Purple, The Lion King and Rent. She has a recurring role on the CBS drama "The Good Wife" and is also known for her role as Evangeline Williamson on One Life to Live.
Erik Charleston Percussionist, performs regularly with the New York Philharmonic, with Encores at City Center, and on film soundtracks from Disney's Aladdin to the recent True Grit and Tower Heist. A frequent performer on Broadway in The Lion King and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, he has also played extensively with the Orchestra of St. Luke's, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. His own group JazzBrasil has a new CD entitled Essentially Hermeto, featuring the music of the great Hermeto Pascoal.
Mark Soskin Pianist, has recorded and performed with such diverse musicians as Sonny Rollins, Joe Henderson and The NY Voices. He has ten of his own recordings and three as co-leader. Soskin is currently on the faculty of The Manhattan School Of Music and has been written up in Ira Gitler and Leonard Feather's Biographical Encyclopedia of Jazz and The Jazz Book by Joachim E. Berendt. Mark Soskin is featured in the film documenting latin jazz artists entitled "Calle 54"
Musical Direction by P.S. 84's own Dan Elish. Dan is an author and pianist and wrote the novelfor the Broadway musical, "13".

A Benefit For PS 84 - The Lillian Weber School Of The Arts
P.S. 84 is a neighborhood elementary (K-5) school serving a diverse community, with two programs that host bilingual education in French and Spanish. The school spends much energy learning about other cultures, and in nature has a high awareness of what is happening around the world. The PTA works with the administration of PS 84 and grant-giving foundations to create an enriched educational environment. The PTA includes the elected Executive Committee and the school community at large.
